Global warming due to manmade reasons, such as increase in the use of fossil fuels and unrestrained deforestation, is resulting in the melting of glaciers, extinction of rare species of fauna and flora, and other calamities. The alarm bells have been sounded, and if left unchecked, this could very well signal the beginning of the end with the deadliest of all natural catastrophes just waiting to happen.
