You’re absolutely right. But this year, I’ve upgraded the 5 star hotels in a couple of cities to better ones. Some 5 stars in this world are better than others. There are also a few extra days (Ranthambore, Samode), and a gala dinner in Samode. This year, the camel safari is also included.

And here’s what the price is based upon:

 Pick up and Drop off at all Airports

 Four & Five Star accommodation depending upon city (2)

 Based on two people per room. (3)

 Two domestic flights (Delhi – Vananasi – Khajuraho)

 Luxury AC bus for all city and highway ground transportation

 Train tickets Jhansi - Agra

 Meals as indicated on itinerary by (B), (L), or (S) (4)

 All airport taxes and pick up/drop offs

 All monument entry fees (about C$15 per pop)

 Qualified guides at all monuments
  
Note 1:

You will be responsible for getting to and from New Delhi on your own. We've listed some airline options, but advise you to check with your travel agent. 
  
Note 2:

We’ll be staying in luxury Swiss-made tents in Pushkar.
  
Note 3:

Sorry, we’ll have to charge extra if you want the privacy of a single room (or tent). The single room/tent supplemental charge will be C$1,316.71. If you’re single and don’t mind doubling up with someone else (of the same gender) let me know and I’ll try to match you up.
  
Note 4: You’ll be on your own for lunches on most days. A good lunch in India can range from C$2 to C$7. Of course more costly options are available.
      
Note 5: A couple of the monuments/attractions levy charges for still cameras. Most of them levy charges for video camera. Camera charges are at your own expense. Don’t worry though. The charges are token.
   

And just to make sure that everything runs smoothly, my wife Linda and I will accompany the group every step of the way. Linda will even help you to haggle in the bazaars. 

Shooting for 20 people. We’re aiming for 20 people to make the trip. If we don’t get 20, but do get 15, it’s a GO. I’m quite confident of getting 20 and very confident of getting 15. The Process & Payment Details.

You fill in the form below if you want to join us. We won’t ask for payment just yet.
If you’ve taken the first step, I’ll keep you informed of how numbers are progressing. Once we’ve got enough people I’ll let you know, and confirm that you’re still in.
You should start procedures for getting a Tourist Visa for India by 01 September
Then, 60 days prior to departure (10 September), I’ll have to ask you for a non-refundable C$500 deposit. This is to secure our hotel rooms and domestic air tickets at quoted group prices.
Then, 30 days prior to departure (10 October) I’ll ask for the remainder. That will be the overall C$3,364.68 minus the C$500 deposit.
