Indian Tourist
Visa
Notes:
-
You can download the
application forms from the mission below that serves your area. Each website
also carries an instruction page. You can apply by mail.
-
Of course you realize
that you’ll need a valid Canadian Passport in order to get a Visa. The Visa is
stamped inside the passport.
-
Your Tourist Visa will be valid from 6 months from time of issue.
Therefore, you should not apply too soon, thus making it invalid for the trip period (23 Oct – 07 Nov). We’d suggest that you apply in early September.
-
Towards the end of the
application form, you are asked for names and contact details of references in
Canada and in India. Applicants for a Tourist Visa need not give references in
India.
-
Places you’ll visit are New Delhi, Varanasi, Khajuraho, Agra, Jaipur and
Pushkar.
