DIPLOMATIST is the Signature Magazine (or Customer Magazine) of
L.B. Associates (Pvt) Ltd, a Noida, India-based contract publishing house that specializes in the production of Customer Magazines, and whose client base spans 85 countries worldwide.
DIPLOMATIST has been in circulation in print form as a quarterly (and recently a bi-monthly) since 1996, and is well received by the diplomatic, expatriate, government, business and academic communities of India and abroad. In fact, the Government of India, Ministry of External Affairs, has reproduced some of our articles in their electronic newsletters. Some of our travel stories are also floating around the Internet on various websites. We encourage that as long as they link back to us.
We took the decision to broaden our reach by launching Diplomatist Online as a supplement to DIPLOMATIST in the year 2002. You are currently reading a sub-page of Diplomatist Online. We also launched a free Diplomatist e-Gazette from the website. Our subscribers’ list numbers in the hundreds and spans every continent of Planet Earth – well almost; none in Antarctica.
It was further decided to bring out special focus editions from time-to-time. For instance, we brought out a focus edition totally dedicated to Africa in May 2003; all copies were given to the Heads of African Missions in New Delhi for distribution during Africa Week. Another one was totally devoted to Francophony; we turned over the copies to the Organizing Committee of Francophony Week in New Delhi in March 2004. Yet another one was dedicated to Canada-India relations and turned over to the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi in early 2007 during a Canadian delegation visit to India. We’ve produced several more of these focus editions; they’re viable providing we get advertising. We invite other organizations to use DIPLOMATIST as a platform to commemorate special occasions or events.
The regular bi-monthly editions of DIPLOMATIST contain articles on bilateral relations, economy, current affaires (pertaining to India), tourism (both domestic and foreign destinations) and human interest stories. Circulation is wide in India and copies also go to Indian diplomatic missions abroad.
